In beta on Google Play · v0.1.0

Your whole day on one calm screen.

Daily Dashboard is a local-first Android app that puts your day on a single screen: tasks with real reminders and alarms, notes, a weekly agenda, weather with air quality, and on-device sunrise, sunset and moon phase. Your content lives on your device — no accounts, no analytics, no ads.

Android (Flutter) · local-first (SQLite) · no backend for your content.

Features

Everything about today, in one view

  • One screen for the day

A unified agenda with a live “now” line. Swipe between days; the background gently shifts on your working vs. resting days.

  • Tasks that actually remind you

Reminders and alarm-style alerts per task, with a tone you pick from your phone and full-screen alarms for the important ones.

  • See what pinged you

When notifications pile up, tasks whose reminders already fired are flagged on the agenda — a warm underline and an active glyph — so you know which went off.

  • Repeating tasks & shareable Plans

Daily, weekly, monthly or several-times-a-day repeats. Plans date to fixed dates or “day N of the plan,” export to a file, and the recipient picks their own start date.

  • Notes & notebooks

Daily notes, task notes and checklists, plus subject notebooks with colour-coded sections — an all-tasks review and search across everything.

  • Calendar month grid

See which days have notes and how much got done (green / orange / red), with a repeat glyph on upcoming recurring days.

  • Weather & air quality

Current conditions plus air-quality AQI, delivered through the studio’s own weather proxy — so there’s no API key on your device.

  • Sky for any day, offline

Sunrise, sunset, moonrise, moonset and the moon’s phase — computed on-device (Schlyter’s method), so they work with no signal, for any date.

  • Recently deleted (trash)

A 30-day recovery bin for anything you remove — plus a 6-second undo when you delete by mistake.

  • Tags & priority

Colour-split agenda sections, with high / medium / low priority colouring so the day reads at a glance.

A look around

Your privacy & permissions

Private by default — and clear about the rest

Your tasks, notes, notebooks, tags, plans and settings are stored only on your device. No account is required, there are no ads and no third-party tracking, and we never sell your data. The Google and weather features below are opt-in and only run when you turn them on — the app is fully usable with zero Google permissions granted.

Optional: Google Calendar (read-only)

What it does
If you connect Google Calendar, Daily Dashboard requests read-only access and mirrors your upcoming events (about the next 30 days) onto your agenda, so your day and week read in one place. It never creates, edits, or deletes events.
Scope, in plain terms
Read-only calendar events — https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly. Optional and off until you connect it.
Where the data goes
Your events are shown on your device and are never sent to the studio or anyone else. Disconnect any time in the app or in your Google Account → Security → Third-party access.

Optional: Backup to your own Google Drive

What it does
If you enable backup, Daily Dashboard saves a backup to a hidden, app-specific folder in your own Google Drive, so you can restore your data later.
Scope, in plain terms
App-data folder access only — https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.appdata. The app cannot see or touch any of your other Drive files, and the studio never receives a copy.
You’re in control
Your backup stays in your account. Delete it or disconnect any time.

Google sign-in

Why it’s used
Only to authenticate the two optional Google features above. It stores just your account email locally — no password, and no copy on any server.

Device permissions

Location (approximate / coarse)
Used only to show local weather and air quality. Coarse coordinates go to the studio’s weather proxy, then to OpenWeather; no location history is stored (roughly an 11 km grid cache). Decline it and the app falls back to a default city.
Notifications, exact alarm & full-screen intent
To deliver task reminders and alarms at the time you set, and to survive a reboot. On-device only.
Internet
To fetch weather and — only if you enable them — sync Calendar and back up to Drive.

Google user data is used only to provide the in-app features above — never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared with third parties. Daily Dashboard’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
